CS Paving & Surfacing is a growing paving, surfacing and grab hire company looking for an organised, experienced and proactive Office Administrator & Marketing Assistant to join our team.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive individual to join our friendly team. This is a varied role that combines customer service, office administration, grab coordination and marketing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, keeping things organised and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries and bookings for our services.
- Confidently answer incoming telephone calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Make outbound calls to customers and suppliers where required.
- Liaise with customers and the team to schedule grab lorries, deliveries and upcoming jobs.
- Respond promptly to email enquiries.
- Carry out general day to day office administration and maintain accurate records.
- Use company systems and databases on Apple devices.
- Attend project sites to capture photo and video content, creating and scheduling engaging social media and marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure project needs are met.
- Input information into a CRM system.
- Prepare, send and follow up quotations.

Essential Requirements
- Previous administration, customer service and/or marketing experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence speaking with customers over the telephone.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Comfortable learning and working on Apple (Mac) devices.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office environment.
- Driving licence.
Desirable Skills
- Construction industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Experience using CRM.
- Experience managing business social media accounts or creating marketing content.

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment where priorities can change throughout the day. A large part of the role involves speaking with customers, coordinating enquiries and bookings, supporting our marketing activities and assisting with the day to day administration of the business.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, enjoys variety and naturally takes the initiative to get things done. If you prefer a quieter, highly structured role where tasks are assigned one at a time, this position is unlikely to be the right fit.
