Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Lead to oversee and coordinate patient care within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various care environments, including assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, and home care settings. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of clinical procedures, team management, and specialised care for individuals with complex needs such as dementia and disabilities. The Clinical Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Dutiess
- Lead and supervise clinical staff, ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained across all departments.
- Coordinate and oversee care plans for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, disabilities, or requiring specialised attention such as Toddler or senior care.
- Manage case documentation, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with medication administration and monitor adherence to prescribed treatments.
- Provide guidance on anatomy and medical procedures to staff members to optimise patient outcomes.
- Oversee training programmes related to dementia care, hospice support, ICU procedures, laboratory practices, and medical imaging.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, therapists, social workers, and external healthcare providers to deliver holistic care.
- Support staff development through supervision, mentoring, and organising ongoing professional training.
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living environments, nursing homes or home care services.
- Strong background in senior care, dementia management (including Alzheimer’s), hospice support, ICU procedures, and patient case management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience within healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical procedures such as medication administration and laboratory techniques.
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate approach combined with excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients’ families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with medical imaging processes is desirable but not essential.
