Overview: At Boam Automotive our workshop is modern, clean, fully equipped and heated. We have multiple channels for technical data to support our technicians and a Picoscope on hand as well as other testing equipment. Although we are a multibrand independant workshop we have invested in dealer diagnositics, which include Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, Citroen and Peugeot.
We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions- Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems- Carry out servicing, routine maintenance and repairs and the candidate would be expected to have a good understanding of electrical diagnosis and testing - Keep accurate records of work carried out using our management system. Requirements:- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician - Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills- Full UK driving licence required- Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance (NVQ Level 3). MOT tester desirable but not essential.
