We are looking to further improve our cleaning provision and are seeking cleaners to join our hardworking and friendly Housekeeping Department as soon as possible. Experience of working in a school cleaning environment is desirable but not essential. This is a busy ‘hands on’ role you will be working alongside our cleaning team in central school areas such as offices, classrooms in the Pre-Prep and Prep school including the science labs and sports hall. As we are a semi-rural location, your own transport is advisable.
Set in 150 acres of stunning parkland in rural West Berkshire, Elstree welcomes boys and girls aged 2-13 years. Originally founded in 1848, it moved to its current location in 1939 and opened its Pre-Prep school in 1993. It offers boarding, both flexi and weekly, from Year 4 onwards. We are a close community and pride ourselves on the very special, warm environment that has evolved since our inception, influenced largely by the family principles of Elstree School.

Working hours are 4 per day 4.30pm – 8.30pm for the all year round cleaner and either 5.00am - 9.00am or 4.30pm - 8.30pm for the term time cleaner (who will also be asked to work additional days at the start/end of term).
