Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled General Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Your expertise will help transform blueprints into reality, contributing to the creation of durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures. Duties
- Perform minor carpentry tasks including framing, door and window installation, and cabinetry work with precision and attention to detail
- Carry out roofing repairs and installations to ensure weatherproofing and structural integrity
- Execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete pouring to build foundations and walls
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various construction tasks efficiently
- Fabricate custom components or structures as needed for specific projects or client requirements
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry or related construction trades
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels as well as power tools including drills, grinders, and saws
- Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints accurately
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents and injuries
- Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction trades are preferred but not mandatory
- Over see and take lead on projects as and when requiered whilst encouraging a good work ethic within a team
- Have good comunication skills

Pay: £37,420.00-£41,358.71 per year
