We are currently recruiting for a compassionate, resilient Complex Care / Support Workers to provide 2:1 support for a young woman in her early 20s with complex mental health needs.
This is a genuinely rewarding role where you’ll make a meaningful difference—supporting her to live as independently and safely as possible while engaging in positive, everyday activities.

Responsibilities
You will be supporting within both the home and community environment, focusing on:
- Encouraging engagement in positive activities and appointments
- Supporting daily routines and independent living skills
- Promoting safety, structure, and wellbeing
- Using de-escalation and distraction techniques during periods of distress
- Building a consistent, trusting relationship
This is a 2:1 support package with 12-hour shifts (12pm–12am).
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Previous experience in mental health / complex care / support work
- Confident supporting individuals with:
- Challenging behaviours
- De-escalation techniques
- Awareness of self-harm and associated risks (desirable, not essential)
- Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work alternate weekends
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with complex needs
