Our Design, manufacture signage for various sectors including FM, Hospitals, construction, schools for the likes of Waitrose, John Lewis, Danone and many high end users.
The work can cover one or many of the diverse skills involved in the sign making process, from design, sign preparation, sign layout through to sign manufacture.
Various methods are used to produce signage such as digital printing, laminating, Laser engraving, Rotary engraver and CNC Router on various substrates such as acrylic, aluminium, dibond, rigid PVC, and Foamex.
Must have Artwork experience in Photoshop, Illustrator or Corel draw
Key Processes: :
- Follow Company procedures working to ISO9001

- Design a wide range of signs
- Plan work schedule using clarity
- Be able to create print ready files
- Material preparation.
- Apply vinyl to various substrates like arcylic, dibond and Aluminuim
- Vinyl cutting.
- Laser engraving
- Laminating.
- Routing
- Book deliveries in/out via clarity
- Stock checks
- Assist with occasional installation (2nd operative)
Competencies:
- Drawing skills and attention to detail (Photoshop, illustrator).
- Coral draw (Not essential)
- Good practical skills.
- Good spelling and grammar.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work as part of a small team.
- Organisational skills.
Knowledge needed for the role:
- Knowledge of lettering styles, fonts and design.
- Awareness of health and safety.
- Understanding of technology used to produce signage.
- Ability to keep up to date with new skills and techniques.
- Creative flair for design work.
- The split of work is mainly Signage (all rounder) 60% and Artwork 40%
