Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at The Laleham. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel cleaning, or commercial cleaning is advantageous. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, surfaces, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Occasionally assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or upholstery cleaning if required
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness are essential
