Food and Beverage Supervisor – Job and Person Specification

16 hours per week (including Bank Holidays)

Rate of pay is £13.50 per hour
With a brand new commercial kitchen in place we are looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to take our bar/club house to a new level. We are ideally looking for a smart, reliable, committed and motivated person to join our small team.
We are a small team, all of whom have families and Hope Barton is most definitely a family friendly, flexible, supportive work place.
Shifts per week
Monday 5pm until 9pm
Tuesday 5pm until 9pm (will include a quiz night)
Wednesday 5pm until 9pm
Friday 5pm – 9pm
Duties will include
· Previous experience in a F&B environment is helpful
· Helping to control profit margins by working alongside the General Manager and Chef to control food stock, minimise wastage and manage cleaning and other costs.
· Will be in charge of organising and planning of weddings, parties, and events onsite so organisation/efficiency is key.
· Managing bar rotas and cover where necessary.
· Dealing with customer complaints, taking lead when the bar is busy and the ability to talk to customers as you will be serving on the bar on a day to day basis however will be responsible for the overall running of the bar.
· Experience of driving revenue – we need to improve our income streams through the bar so any new ideas are welcome
· A problem solver who can manage difficult situations well and has some initiative
· Delivering excellent customer service (with a smile) to owners and renters on site
· Preferably a Level 2 Hygiene certificate but again training can be provided
· Driving licence is essential due to our location
