As our in-house plant fitter you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of our plant and machinery at our depot in Barnsley (S75 1JN).
You will ensure that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, minimising down time and keeping our projects moving.
You will also be required to carry out the servicing of our company transit vans.
Other responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical 110v & 415v petrol & diesel power equipment and generators - in-house training will be given
- Maintain service records accurately
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
- Liaise with management regarding equipment status and urgent repairs
The ideal candidate will:
- Be able to manage their own work load and work independently
- Have good communication skills and a positive problem solving attitude
- Hold a full clean UK driving license - a company vehicle will be provided for the right candidate
- Wage dependent on experience
