Job Description:
Job Summary To be responsible for driving continual improvement in health ,safety , quality and environmental practices across our sites and depots whilst developing best practice as part of our zero accident, incident and defect strategy.
Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure compliance with health , safety , environmental and quality standards.
- Provide SHEQ guidance and training to employees and sub-contractors
- Investigate accidents , incidents and near misses ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislations, industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain accurate SHEQ records and produce reports for senior management
- Liase with regulatory bodies, clients and stakeholders regarding SHEQ matters
- Assist in audits and inspections ensuring all findings are addressed effectively.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement and awareness initiatives.
Qualifications

Multi Utility background Electric/Gas/Water essential
- Previous SHEQ experience essential
- Auditing experience
- Understanding of and commitment to the company values.
- Knowledge of ISO management systems.
- A NEBOSH general certificate is preferred.
- A full driving license
