Labourer
Location: Poole, BH17 0GH
Tekne are currently seeking a Labourer to join our team on a full time basis to support the day-to-day operations of our workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment, assisting with material handling, waste management and general housekeeping, while supporting the wider workshop team with operational tasks as required. Occasional driving duties may also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop, manufacturing and external areas.
- Manage waste disposal and maintain welfare facilities, including toilets and the canteen.
- Assist with receiving, moving, storing, packing and loading materials and finished goods.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the workshop by carrying our general labouring duties as required.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a labouring or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- A full clean UK driving licence is desirable.
- A Combi-Lift 4 Way (Gas) Forklift Truck Licence is desirable.
- Good practical skills with the ability to carry out manual tasks safely.
- A proactive approach and willingness to support a variety of duties.
