About the role:
We have an exciting role for a Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Skills and Attributes:
- Supporting students across Key Stage 3 and 4 lessons
- Providing targeted intervention and academic support
- Assisting teachers with lesson resources and preparation
- Supporting students with SEND and EHCP requirements
- Encouraging engagement, attendance and positive behaviour
- Monitoring student progress and classroom participation
Pre-requisites:
- Previous UK secondary school experience essential
- Experience supporting students in a classroom setting
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and student welfare procedures
