JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Camera Operator, Videographer & Editor
We are looking for a talented and passionate videographer to support our fast-paced, creative work within the Asian wedding industry. This role requires a strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. You should have a genuine passion for storytelling through film and be confident in capturing multi-day wedding events with professionalism and creativity.
The ideal candidate must be experienced in operating drones to capture high-quality aerial video and photography and be proficient in video editing software.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
There are no formal academic or professional qualifications required for this role. What matters most is proven experience in wedding videography and a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
Candidates with hands-on industry experience, creativity, and a good understanding of filming live events are strongly encouraged to apply, regardless of educational background. A minimum of 2 years’ experience is preferable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select subjects and plan shot composition independently or in collaboration with colleagues
- Arrange subjects, lighting, camera equipment, and microphones
- Insert lenses and adjust aperture and speed settings as required
- Capture high-quality video footage and still images
- Follow live action and events using professional camera techniques
- Record, edit, and manipulate digital video and images
- Check the operation and positioning of cameras, vision, and sound equipment
- Back up and transfer footage to the designated server after each shoot
- Operate drones to capture aerial photography and videography
- Edit and prepare final video content using professional editing software
