Apprenticeship Central are recruiting an Apprentice Business Administrator to join a busy and supportive automotive team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in parts operations and office administration while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn!
Apprenticeship Details:
Duration: 12 months
Pay: £8.00 per hour in year 1, rising to the national wage for your age from year 2
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00
Training & Support:
- On-site delivery with a training provider coach visiting workplace
- On-the-job guidance from an experienced team and allocated workplace mentor
- Visits from a training provider coach every 6–8 weeks
- Additional support from a RETAIN Manager at Apprenticeship Central

What You’ll Do:
As an Apprentice Business Administrator you’ll assist and learn across a variety of tasks, including:
- Communicate with customers by phone, email, and face-to-face in a professional and friendly manner
- Welcome customers as the first point of contact and help with enquiries
- Provide clear updates and guidance on services, repairs, and progress
- Process customer orders, requests, and payments accurately using systems
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and job progress
- Handle customer concerns and complaints in a calm and helpful way
- Support aftercare by following up with customers to check satisfaction
- Work with the workshop team and use IT systems to manage and track customer information
Requirements:
- GCSE (or equivalent) English – Grade 4/C or above
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths – Grade 4/C or above

- Willing to learn and develop new skills in a busy office and workshop environment
- Organised and able to follow instructions accurately
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
- Willing to learn and take on new challenges
- Works well in a team and communicates clearly
- Basic IT skills
- Reliable travel to and from the workplace
