We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff / FOH to join our vibrant team. As a key part of our café, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting in food preparation and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The roles can range from taking a customers order to preparing it and taking it to their tables. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for culinary arts.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers and taking their orders accurately.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to food safety standards.
- To be able to use a coffee machine to prepare customers drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and café areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Support the team in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Carry out basic maths tasks for handling cash transactions and providing change to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the café environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and order processing.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Working Hours: hours 25- 30 per week. 4-5 days per week

Pay: £12.75-£13.00 per hour
