This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll work alongside the housekeeping team, ensuring properties are cleaned and presented to a consistently high standard, while also supporting team members, carrying out quality checks, coordinating daily tasks, and helping new team members develop.
You’ll be someone who leads by example, takes pride in excellent standards, and is confident giving support and constructive feedback when needed.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring every property is guest-ready, beautifully presented, and meets the standards our guests expect from Wyndale.

- Ensure properties are presented in line with Wyndale standards and listing photography.
- Complete final presentation touches, including mood lighting, soft furnishings, styling, and room presentation.
- Start and finish your working day at our Birmingham storage unit, collecting and returning linen and supplies.
- Travel between multiple properties throughout the day to complete assigned tasks.

- Support the team in resolving day-to-day issues and challenges.
- Help create a positive, supportive, and accountable team environment.
Quality Control & Spot Checks
- Carry out regular spot checks across Birmingham properties.
- Ensure cleaning, presentation, and staging standards are consistently maintained.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Record and report quality issues, damages, or maintenance concerns to management.
- Ensure Breezeway logs and relevant property information are completed accurately and on time.
Training & Onboarding
- Support the onboarding of new housekeeping team members.
- Deliver hands-on training on cleaning standards, property presentation, linen management, and Breezeway.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help team members improve.
- Help develop and improve training materials, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Stock & Operations
- Oversee housekeeping stock and linen levels across Birmingham.
- Ensure supplies are organised, maintained, and replenished when required.
- Carry out regular inventory checks and report missing, damaged, or low-stock items.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and correctly.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures, particularly when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

- Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally within serviced accommodation, hospitality, hotels, or a similar environment.
- Experience supporting, guiding, or leading a team.
- A strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for high standards.
- Pride in creating clean, well-presented, and welcoming spaces.
- The confidence to give constructive feedback in a positive and professional way.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
