Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
- Take customer orders accurately, providing friendly and efficient service from start to finish
- Assist with food preparation, including assembling light snacks or baked goods as needed
- Maintain food safety standards by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and operate POS systems smoothly
- Keep the service area clean, organized, and inviting for guests at all times
Experience
- 6 months or more of barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is preferred
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Ability to perform basic math calculations confidently for transactions and inventory checks
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a lively environment
