Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery to guests’ tables
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for delivering excellent guest service
- Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for processing orders, bills, and payments accurately
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for supporting food prep tasks
- Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
