Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in janitorial services and commercial cleaning is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be reliable, organised, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, retail spaces, and other commercial facilities according to specified schedules
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors and surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste responsibly
- Restocking supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed
- Sanitising restrooms and kitchen areas to meet health and safety standards
- Use of specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a high level of organisation in storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

4 days on and 4 days off
Week 1 - 6:00am - 16:00pm
Week 2 - 16:00pm - 22:00pm
Must be able to sit a health and safety exam.
