Job description
We are seeking a Part time cook to join our nursery team, working a 20 hours per week contract, (9am-1.00pm). we are a lively, colourful and popular nursery in Broxtowe Nottingham, and we are a chain of 3 nurseries.
Cooks Duties include.
· Ability to organise stock control/rotation and organise food and cleaning shopping
· Ability to help plan our meal menus, taking into account children's dietary and religious requirements and have the ability to cater for them.
· Knowledge of safer food better policies and paper works, and of health and safety requirements in a kitchen environment.
· Have an ability to follow up an efficient cleaning rota
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
· level 2 or level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
· Ideal experience of catering for approximately 40-50 children, ages between 6 weeks to 11 years
· Good Communication skills and a Good team player
· a DBS will be applied for
Part-time hours: 20 per week
