Self-Employed | Experienced Sales Professional
Minimum 3 Years’ Window & Door Sales Experience Required
Tower Windows is looking for an experienced, motivated and professional Self-Employed Sales Person to join our growing team.
This is not a trainee sales position. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ proven experience selling windows and doors directly to homeowners and be confident managing customer appointments from initial consultation through to securing the order.
THE ROLE
You will attend pre-arranged customer appointments and provide professional advice on the most suitable products for the customer and their home.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Attending customer appointments generated by Tower Windows
- Understanding the customer's requirements and providing appropriate product advice
- Selling UPVC and aluminium windows and doors
- Selling composite entrance doors
- Accurately measuring and specifying products for quotation purposes
- Preparing and presenting quotations
- Explaining product features, benefits, security and energy efficiency
- Following up quotations and progressing opportunities
- Closing sales professionally without the need for high-pressure selling
- Accurately completing all required sales documentation
- Keeping customer records, appointment notes and sales opportunities fully updated on our CRM system
- Working closely with our internal Sales Support and Operations teams
- Representing Tower Windows professionally at all times
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have:
- At least 3 years’ proven experience selling windows and doors
- Experience selling directly to homeowners
- A strong understanding of UPVC and/or aluminium window and door products
- Experience measuring and specifying replacement windows and doors
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to build trust and rapport with customers
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills
- Good IT skills and the ability to use a CRM system
- A full UK driving licence and suitable vehicle

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS
Experience selling any of the following would be particularly beneficial:
- Aluminium bifold and sliding doors
- Conservatories and extensions
- Conservatory roof replacements
- Garage doors
- Roofline, fascias, soffits and guttering
- Flat roof replacements
- Carports and canopies
