Job Overview
We are seeking experienced candidates with a strong background in flat roofing and joinery. As a Roofer at Ideal Building Systems, you will play a key role in the construction and installation of flat roofing systems on modular buildings and will be working with single ply membranes and EPDM blankets and will also be expected to assist with joinery and carpentry tasks during peak periods. This is a hands-on role in a supportive, safety-first environment.
Please note; This role involves manual handling and heavy lifting
Duties
- Construction and installation of warm and cold deck flat roofs to high standards
- Accurately measure and cut materials using hand and power tool
- Collaborate with team members to ensure structural integrity and quality.
- Adhere to all site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Take on ad-hoc construction tasks during busy periods such as joinery/carpentry as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in Roofing, particularly flat roofing and joinery
- Strong attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable, and self motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and commitment to high quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with single ply and EPDM roofing materials - desirable
- Basic joinery/carpentry skills - desirable
