This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape a home where children experience safety, stability, belonging and the nurturing relationships they need to thrive. We are looking for someone who shares our ambition to provide outstanding care and who is passionate about helping children recover from adversity, build resilience and achieve their full potential.
As Registered Manager, you will provide visible, values-led leadership to a dedicated team, creating a warm, nurturing and aspirational environment where children feel cared for, listened to and supported. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care, excellent safeguarding practice, strong regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for children and young people in line with the Children's Homes Regulations (2015) and Supported Accommodation Regulations (2023).
This role is about far more than a management role, it is about creating and sustaining a home. You will lead a team to champion relationship-based and trauma-informed practice and support your team to understand and respond to the unique experiences, strengths and needs of every child. Inspire, develop and empower high-performing teams.
- Create and maintain a home environment that is warm, nurturing and ambitious for our children.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care and practice.
- Promote positive outcomes, aspirations and opportunities for children and young people.
- Demonstrate sound judgement and confident decision-making under pressure.
- Build trusting relationships with children, families and professional partners.
- Lead with integrity, compassion, accountability and authenticity.
About the Role

You will be visible within the home, understand the day-to-day experiences of children and staff and be prepared to respond flexibly to emerging situations. There may be occasions where additional operational support is required to maintain stability, continuity and high-quality care for children.
This is not a traditional 9–5 management role. It requires commitment, adaptability and a genuine passion for making a lasting difference to children's lives. Eith the expectation to work flexibly to meet the needs of our children and the home.
Working Pattern
This role includes:
-
Participation in the management on-call rota.
- Regular evening and weekend working as part of a planned rota.
- Flexibility to respond to the needs of children, the home and the wider service when required.
