We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper and Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. Duties
- Maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently
- Reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports as required
- Assisting with payroll processing and employee expense claims
- Organising and maintaining administrative files and documentation
- Supporting general administrative duties including correspondence, scheduling, and data entry
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies
- Providing support during audits by organising necessary documentation and reports
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a small or medium-sized organisation
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial documentation management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of work quality
