ROLE STATEMENT
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will manage production at EnerQuip’s Aberdeen and Lybster facilities at which we currently conduct fabrication, paint and assembly tasks. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Aberdeen and Lybster workshops, including planning, personnel and facilities whilst adhering to EnerQuip’s QHSE standards, responsibilities, policies and procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES
The planning and organising of all production activities and regular reporting of same.
Assessing current and future project and resource requirements.
Implement and promote a culture of continuous improvement to help better achieve the business objectives.
Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained.
Oversee the training and continued development of all workshop personnel.
Work closely with engineering and technical to improve manufacturing processes.
Continuously promote a safe working culture in conjunction with the QHSE department.
Manage projects to meet specification, cost and timeline requirements.
Any other tasks as detailed by Line Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a production or operations role is essential.
Excellent planning and organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of manufacturing procedures, welding, fabrication and assembly techniques.
Solid understanding of manufacturing drawings is desirable.
Fluent in ERP/MRP systems.
Adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities under pressure without compromising quality standards.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) & a team player.
Full driving license.
