We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to manage the kitchen’s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities, creating and inspecting dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring consistent high quality.
Responsibilities:
- Control and direct the food preparation and process from start to finish
- Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality.
- Approve dishes before they reach the customer
- To be in charge of all stock control and ordering
- Responsible for looking after equipment & notify when needs repairs
- Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs when necessary
- Be fully in charge of training kitchen staff
- Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
- You will be in charge of all kitchen team members
- Plan catering for events e.g. buffets, parties etc...
- Cater for themed cuisine nights
- Bonuses biannually based on business performance and individual targets achieved.
- Bonuses awarded on achieving 5* food hygiene & 6 months, after if management feel standards have been maintained.
