As a Financial Planner, you'll provide holistic financial planning advice to a diverse range of clients while developing long-term relationships built on trust and exceptional service.
You'll be supported by an experienced team and have the opportunity to continue developing your technical knowledge and advisory skills while progressing towards Chartered status.
- Delivering holistic financial planning and wealth management advice to clients
- Conducting detailed fact-finds and financial reviews
- Producing tailored recommendations across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
- Presenting financial plans and suitability recommendations to clients
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Managing and developing your own client portfolio
- Identifying opportunities for business development, referrals and networking
- Collaborating with paraplanners and administrators to ensure an excellent client experience
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the practice
- Continuing your professional development towards Chartered status

Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Working towards Chartered status or committed to achieving it
- Minimum three years' experience as a Financial Planner within a financial advice practice
- Experience delivering holistic financial planning advice
- Comfortable conducting client meetings both remotely and face-to-face
- Proven ability to build strong and lasting client relationships
You'll have a solid understanding of:
- Investment planning
- Pension and retirement planning
- Protection planning
- Estate and inheritance tax planning
- Financial planning best practice and regulatory requirements
Experience in areas such as trusts, long-term care planning or specialist pension advice would be advantageous.
You'll be based at Verum Financial Planning's office in Kent, conveniently located with access to Canterbury and the surrounding area. The office provides a professional and collaborative working environment supported by modern technology and experienced colleagues.
