We're recruiting for an experienced LCV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LCV Technician / Van Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a long-term position with competitive pay, excellent earning potential and strong benefits.
The role operates on a rotating shift pattern, providing a mixture of early and late shifts across the working week.
Shift Pattern
Week 1 - Late Shift
Monday - Friday: 3:00pm - Midnight
Week 2 - Early Shift
Tuesday - Saturday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
The shifts rotate, so candidates will be required to work both the early and late shift patterns.
The Role
As an LCV Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing light commercial vehicles.
- Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT inspection.
- Diagnosing vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Completing all required paperwork and job documentation.
- Maintaining high standards of workshop housekeeping.
- Following Health & Safety procedures and company standards.
- Working as part of a professional workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime.
About You
We're looking for an experienced LCV Technician / Van Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician with:
- Level 3, City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Previous experience working on light commercial vehicles.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic fault-finding skills.
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- A reliable and professional approach to work.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
