We take enormous pride in preparing delicious, home-cooked, traditional breakfasts and lunches. Due to being very busy year round, we are now looking for an equally passionate new member of staff to join our busy team at Puffing Billy Cafe.
Main shifts will be 5 days from 7, usually 9am - 5pm however for the 6 weeks of the summer holidays its usually 8.30am - 5.30pm.
Job Role:
Working alongside our kitchen team you'll prepare and cook our breakfasts, lunches, snacks, roasts, cakes and puddings. All cooked from scratch using local ingredients wherever possible. We are quite a small team so being flexible and able to help colleagues in a range of duties is essential.
Its a busy, friendly team, so were looking for people who can fit in well and get on with the job. You'll need to have a positive attitude, be physically fit and enjoy a fast paced environment. In return you'll get to work during the daytime, finish at a reasonable time and enjoy your evenings.
Formal qualifications would be an advantage but not essential. However a minimum of two year's previous experience in a similar setting is required and ideally a current Level 2 food hygiene certificate.
Hourly rate of pay dependent on experience.
Tips paid weekly.
