Established in 1992, MLH Transport Ltd is a family owned transport and warehousing business based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Over the last 30+ years, we've built an excellent reputation for providing reliable logistics solutions throughout the UK.
Operating our own fleet of vehicles, we offer a wide range of services including general haulage, pallet distribution, warehousing, same day courier services and temperature-controlled transport. We pride ourselves on looking after both our customers and our drivers, with many of our team having been with us for years.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Driver to join our professional driving team.
The Role
- Monday to Thursday night outs
- Nationwide deliveries and collections
- Mainly curtainsider work
- Some tail lift deliveries
- Ensuring loads are secured safely and delivered on time
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Complying with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and all transport legislation
- Representing MLH Transport professionally with customers
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
- Curtainsider experience preferred, although training can be provided for the right candidate
- A commitment to safe and efficient driving
