Registered Building Inspector - Minimum Class 2A
Contract: Initial 3 months, likely to extend
Rate: £55 per hour+
Location: Exeter
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Building Inspector to join a Local Authority Building Control team on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
The council is looking for a minimum Class 2A Registered Building Inspector to support the team with an existing workload of building control applications and inspections.
Key requirements:
- Registered Building Inspector - minimum Class 2A
- Building Control experience within a Local Authority or Approved Inspector environment
- Ability to manage an allocated caseload with minimal supervision
- Experience undertaking site inspections and assessing compliance with Building Regulations
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to provide clear, professional advice to applicants and stakeholders
The rate is £55 per hour+, dependent on experience and registration class.
With registered Building Inspectors continuing to be in high demand, particularly across the interim market, this is a good opportunity to secure an initial 3-month assignment with genuine potential for a longer-term contract.
