The role focuses on supervising day-to-day operations, managing a team of engineers and service colleagues, and ensuring planned and reactive maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements across multiple locations.
You will ensure all works are completed to the highest standards, whilst maintaining compliance, promoting a positive safety culture, and driving continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities:
Supervise and support the daily activities of engineers and operational teams across the contract.
Ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are completed in accordance with contractual requirements and service level agreements.
Monitor compliance, health and safety, and statutory requirements, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues, resolving concerns efficiently and effectively.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and performance reviews to maintain service quality and compliance standards.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, stakeholders, and contractors.
Support workforce planning, scheduling, absence management, and resource allocation.
Identify opportunities for service improvements and efficiencies across the contract.
Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities for team members to support performance and career progression.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within Facilities Management, Maintenance, or a related operational environment.
Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing teams, resources, and operational performance.
Proficiency in completing reports, documentation, and using CAFM or related management systems.
Ability to prioritise workloads and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Full UK Driving Licence.
