JENKI is growing! We are looking for an exceptional New Store Opening Manager to join our team as we continue to grow and open new JENKI Matcha bars. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for someone highly organised and detail-oriented – coordinating everything that goes into bringing a new bar to life, from site handover through to launch and beyond.

THE ROLE
- As New Store Opening Manager, you will play a key role in supporting JENKI's growth, supporting the successful delivery of each new bar from site handover through to operational launch.
- Working closely with the Property Manager and Operations Team, you will help ensure each new JENKI Bar is delivered in line with project timeline, is fully compliant, set for operational success, and reflective of JENKI's culture and brand standards.
- This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and enjoys bringing multiple projects together.
- You will be responsible for coordinating internal timelines, communicating with all departments, overseeing procurement, supporting compliance requirements and ensuring every new JENKI Bar is set up for long-term success.
- Alongside supporting new openings, you will play an important role in maintaining operational and property standards across the wider estate, helping to drive consistency, compliance and continuous improvement as JENKI continues to scale.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
NSO Coordination
- Work closely with the Property Manager to coordinate internal team actions throughout the new shop opening process in line with the NSO workflow timeline.
- Manage the pre-launch tracker, ensuring all departments have visibility of progress and key milestones.
- Co-ordinate opening month team schedules and launch week planning.
- Procure all opening sundries, consumables, and client-direct items within the approved NSO budget.
- Create tech stack accounts for each new opening.
- Lead the setup week for each new opening, ensuring all elements are delivered on time and to standard.
- Support the Marketing team and Property Manager with photoshoots and launch events, including ordering, team preparation, and site presentation.
- Create and manage compliance files and property documents for each new opening on Google Drive.
Operational Support
- Manage bar compliance requirements for all new openings, ensuring all documentation and records are complete prior to launch.
- Oversee the operational handover from the Property Department to the Operations team once all NSO checks are completed.
- Support recruitment planning and team mobilisation for new openings.
- Set new stores to JENKI brand standards, ensuring consistency across all customer-facing areas.
- Manage opening stock orders, deliveries, and stock count processes.
- Provide hands-on operational support during launch and for up to three weeks post-opening to ensure a successful transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Conduct brand standard audits across existing stores and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Property Support
- Coordinate Health & Safety folders and maintain compliance documentation across the estate.
- Support ad hoc procurement requirements for existing stores and property projects.
- Support the maintenance of property standards and compliance across all JENKI locations.
- Contribute "lessons learned" feedback to support new site designs for each new bar.
- Perform quarterly Compliance & Standards Audits for each JENKI Bar
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality operations or a similar property openings role.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for presentation, quality, and brand standards.
- Excellent organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience using operational and business systems, including Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, and similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of compliance, health & safety, and food safety requirements within a hospitality environment.
- Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholder groups.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours, including travel and support during opening periods.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on, taking ownership of projects from planning through to execution.
- Potential national or international travel required.
