Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Biggleswade. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company offering regular weekday work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers across the region while maintaining high standards of customer service and safe driving.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing daily multi-drop deliveries
- 2-3 drops per day
- Driving a curtain-sided Class 2 vehicle
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Completing all relevant paperwork and using delivery systems where required
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers at each delivery point
What to Expect
- Approximately 90% of deliveries are unloaded by the customer using a forklift, keeping manual handling to a minimum
- The occasional delivery may require the use of a pump truck, so applicants should be comfortable with light manual work when necessary
- Monday to Friday work with no regular weekend requirement
- Start times vary between 4:00am and 9:00am, depending on the delivery schedule
- Occasional nights out may be required, paid at £20 per night

Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- A good understanding of drivers' hours, tachograph regulations, and road transport legislation
- A positive attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service
