Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join a well-established and prestigious estates company, working across a portfolio of heritage and high-value properties in the North Norfolk area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently completed an apprenticeship or has1–2 years’ experience in carpentry or multi-trade work, and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking company.
The Role
You will be involved in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of a range of historic and estate buildings, ensuring high standards are consistently delivered.
Typical duties will include:
- General carpentry repairs
- Planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Basic multi-trade works (e.g. painting, minor plumbing, patch repairs)
- Assisting with preservation and restoration of heritage features
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
About You
- Recently qualified apprentice or 1–2 years’ experience in carpentry or multi-trade
- Basic knowledge across general building trades
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Interest in working on heritage / period properties
