Job Title: QHSE & ESG Compliance Co-ordinator
Reports to: Managing Director
Based at: Dyce, Aberdeen
Job Purpose: QHSE - Co-Ordinate all QHSE activities involved in meeting the requirements of the company’s Management System and to maintain approvals to ISO 9001:2015 and API Q1, Spec 7-1, Spec 7-2
ESG Compliance - Responsible for the facilitation and maintenance of the Compliance Management System and Sustainability Reporting
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manage and develop QHSE and Compliance Management Systems in accordance with company processes and appropriate International Standards. Provide H&S Advice to the company in line with legislation and best practice. Provide a focus on Sustainability in line with Scottish Government’s targets.
- Investigate and record all Non-Conformances. Implementing Corrective Actions and analysing Quality Key Performance Indicators for insertion into Management information. Communicate, report and escalate compliance risks to the Managing Director
- Conduct Internal and External Audits; H&S and Environmental Risk Assessments as per Management System Procedures and Legislation. Perform compliance audits to determine whether established protocols are being followed and where they can be improved
- Maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organisation’s business activities ensuring that staff have all the current information that they need
- Continually improve systems, processes and procedures to ensure the smooth running and increased effectiveness of the business to be the best in our field of activities
- Provide regular activity reporting on QHSE and Compliance for staff bulletins; management meetings; and company forums.
- Keep abreast of current legislation; industry best practice; sustainability and report relevant legislation changes to the international compliance team
- Develop and facilitate implementing strategies to enhance environmental sustainability, social responsibility and governance practices that align with the core business objectives
- Proactively identify processes to continuously optimize data collection to allow for accurate sustainability reporting
- Develop and maintain documentation of processes and procedures around data collection and verification
- Understand and apply ESG reporting frameworks prioritized by Head Office
- Engaging with internal and external partners to stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes related to ESG
- Analysing and interpreting data related to ESG factors and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain personal and professional development appropriate and consistent to the needs of the business
Experience and Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in QHSE, risk management, sustainability/ESG data management and reporting would be preferred but are not all, training will be given
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly good Microsoft Excel skills are required
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices
- Overall Understanding of the Global sustainability landscape including different stakeholders and their interests, reporting and transparency trends and evolving legislation
- Willingness to attend QHSE and Compliance Courses and Conferences
- Strong time management and organizational skills and able to meet deadlines
- Should have a strong moral code and sense of ethics
Salary & Benefits Package
- £35K-£40K depending on experience
- 40 hours per week ideally but can be flexible for the right candidate
- 32 days holiday per year including statutory days (pro-rata if not full time)
