Pennine Home Improvements is seeking a Regional Head of Installations to lead large-scale operational delivery across the region. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this senior executive role carries full regional accountability for uPVC fenestration, conservatories, conservatory conversions, and modular/HUP-style extensions.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Oversight: Report directly to the Managing Director, providing high-level operational reporting, strategic oversight, and regional performance updates.
- Operational Leadership: Full accountability for regional installation delivery, directly managing 3 Installation Managers and overseeing 20+ installation teams.
- Quality Control & Snagging: Establish strict quality audit frameworks, conducting regular site inspections and implementing rigorous snagging protocols to eliminate re-work before sign-off.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Maintain rigorous Health & Safety (H&S) standards across all sites, while ensuring strict compliance with Building Regulations and structural engineering requirements.
- Technical & Roof Expertise: Provide hands-on leadership for complex structural roof systems, conservatory conversions (solid roof upgrades and retrofits), glass-to-solid roof transitions, and modular/HUP installations.
- Quality & Margin Control: Drive "right-first-time" performance, drastically reduce remedial and callback costs, and improve installation margins through commercial control.
- Process & Performance: Implement KPIs, improve the survey-to-install handover process, and manage team recruitment, training, and development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 10+ years in fenestration installation with a proven background progressing from site-level work to managing managers and 15–20+ installation teams.
- Quality & Snagging Oversight: High attention to detail with proven hands-on experience conducting site audits, quality inspections, and sign-off snagging to enforce high standards across multiple teams.
- Roofing & Conversion Knowledge: Extensive experience with conservatory conversions, warm roof conversions, solid tiled roofs, and structural modifications.
- Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Building Regulations (specifically concerning structural loads and insulation standards for conservatory conversions), site inspection requirements, and working alongside structural engineers and Building Control inspectors.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Deep understanding of site safety regulations, CDM requirements, risk assessments, and safe working procedures at height.
- Commercial Mindset: Strong grasp of productivity, margin control, reporting frameworks, and direct accountability to executive leadership.
Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year
