Wyndham House Dental Practice is a modern, 7-surgery dental practice providing high-quality private and NHS dentistry in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan. We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to become part of our supportive team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, well-established practice alongside experienced clinicians, assisting with a wide range of treatments including implants, orthodontics and specialist periodontology.
About the Role
As a Qualified Dental Nurse, you will play an important role in delivering outstanding patient care by:
- Assisting dentists and specialists during a variety of dental procedures.
- Supporting treatments including implants, orthodontics and specialist periodontology.
- Providing excellent patient care and helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their visit.
- Preparing and maintaining clean, organised surgeries in line with CQC and cross-infection control standards.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with administrative duties when required.
- Working closely with the wider clinical and reception team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
- Delivering a professional, friendly and caring experience for every patient.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- GDC registration as a Qualified Dental Nurse.
- Previous experience working within a dental practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, positive and patient-focused approach.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using dental software and general IT systems.
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- A professional attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
