Primary Teaching Assistant – Warrington
Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to work in schools across the Warrington area.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a primary school setting. The role offers flexibility, with positions available on a full-time, part-time, day-to-day, and long-term basis.
The successful candidate will be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
The Role Includes:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and classroom activities
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Helping to maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
- A caring, patient, and supportive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
