Job Overview
We are seeking dynamic and experienced Front of House Staff Members and Shift Supervisors to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. These roles are across several venues in Darwen Town Centre and will be discussed at interview. The ideal candidate will possess strong individual or leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
Front of House Responsibilities
- Serve beverages as requested by customers
- Collect glasses and food items as and when required
- Set up and supervise gaming equipment (venue dependant)
- Set up bar and bar equipment as required
- Keep up with general cleanliness of venue during and after shifts
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
In addition to above Supervisors will be expected to:
- Supervise front of house operations, including customer service, reservations, and seating arrangements
- Manage shift schedules, delegating tasks efficiently among team members
- Lead by example in delivering excellent service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Monitor stock levels
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area in compliance with health regulations
- Train new staff members on service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
- Promote teamwork and maintain high morale among staff during shifts
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
- Experience in serving, hospitality, or hotel environments is highly desirable
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
- Previous bar experience or bar management skills are advantageous
- Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
- Excellent communication skills with a professional attitude towards guests and team members

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
