We’re on the lookout for part time removals operators & drivers to join our growing South Manchester team. If you haven’t had any experience within removals or don’t hold a driving license, you can still apply as we’re always on the lookout for veterans to join our team.
You’ll be working within the core of our removals team. Your day to day responsibilities will include domestic removals duties, including packing & moving customers' lives (not just possessions!) from A to B. You’ll also be taking part in team-driven commercial operations where required.
Every day is different and presents a new challenge. You’ll have team leaders available at all times to help you navigate the industry if you don’t have prior experience.
Every job requires an element of travel, so being at our depot punctually is critical. We’re located on Roundthorn Industrial Estate, a 5 minute commute from Wythenshawe Hospital, so please take that into account when applying.
Our removals crews are friendly, efficient and hold close the core elements of camaraderie you’d have experienced in the Armed Forces. If you’re leaving the Armed Forces and need additional support with transitioning back to a civilian lifestyle, we’ll help you every step of the way.
Requirements:
- Driving license & removals experience isn’t mandatory but preferred.
- You must be a team oriented person. Working as part of a greater team is an absolute must as this is what keeps our removals teams ticking over so well!
- You must be able to practice pure professionalism. We have great pride in what we do. The right candidate will be a punctual individual with a keen eye for detail.
- You must be a critical thinker with a positive approach to problem solving. Every day presents a new challenge and no two jobs are the same. You’ll still have full guidance and support available to help you divide and conquer new tasks.
