Duties and Responsibilities:
- To support each resident to enable them to remain as active and independent as possible within the limitations of their condition.
- To encourage and support each resident to do as much as possible for themselves in all aspects of daily living, including washing, dressing and continence.
- To respect the residents’ rights of choice, privacy and dignity and to be sensitive to each resident’s needs.
- To work flexibly, providing help with physical care as required to meet the care and support needs of the resident.
- To support and assist residents with their mobility through the application of skills and knowledge obtained through training, ensuring that any equipment required is used in a safe and proper manner.
- To assist with the serving of meals and drinks and to provide care and support where required to ensure that the resident receives a satisfactory food and fluid intake.
- To complete and maintain all required daily records to demonstrate a complete record of the resident’s social engagement, activities and physical care.
- To work effectively as a team member or an individual to maintain a stimulating and homely environment for each resident.
About you:
Required Skills:
- One years’ experience as a care assistant.
- You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.
- Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:
- Holds a SVQ 2/NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care
