You'll be driving a modern, well-maintained fleet on regular scheduled routes, carrying out depot-to-depot trunking and trailer swap operations on a flexible 5-day shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely collect and deliver trailers between depot and customer locations.
- Carry out depot-to-depot trunking and trailer swap operations efficiently and professionally.
- No loading or unloading of freight – no handball required.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork using our driver app.
- Ensure full compliance with Driver Hours, Tachograph and Working Time Regulations.
- Maintain vehicles, trailers and company equipment to a high standard.
- Report any accidents, incidents, breakdowns or delays in line with company procedures.
- Act as an ambassador forJ.J Freight and Logistics Ltd, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Comply with all Health & Safety, environmental and company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum of 3 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN endorsements).
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Tachograph legislation.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Positive, reliable and safety-focused attitude.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo a Background Check (BGC) and Drug & Alcohol (D&A) test.
