The Institute of Health is looking to recruit a part time Research Assistant to work with a small team of researchers and People First to undertake a participatory research project with co-researchers with learning disabilities. The project is being funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research, Research Support Service Methods Research Development Fund.
We invite applications from candidates with experience of researching or working in the field of learning disabilities, special needs, health or social care. Applications for secondment will be considered.
You will work collaboratively with the research team, People First, external partners, and the public to support the development and delivery of the research project. They will be involved in all aspects of the participatory research project, including literature reviewing; data collection, analysis and review; reporting, dissemination and knowledge mobilisation.
Please note, this role is fixed term with a project end date of 12 March 2027.
