Tate Housing CIC provides supported accommodation to individuals with complex needs, including those with mental health needs, substance misuse histories, and involvement with the criminal justice system. We are now looking for an experienced Team Leader to support our growing service and lead staff in delivering safe, compliant, and compassionate housing support.
The Role
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of staff and properties, ensuring high standards of support, compliance, and professionalism across the service. You will act as a key link between frontline staff and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and supervise support staff and housing officers
- Ensure support plans, risk assessments, and daily records are completed to a high standard
- Monitor safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately
- Oversee property standards, health & safety, and compliance requirements
- Support staff performance, conduct one-to-ones, and address concerns professionally
- Liaise with external agencies including local authorities, probation, and health services
- Ensure organisational policies and procedures are followed at all times
About You
- Experience working in supported housing, social care, or a similar environment
- Previous leadership or senior support role experience
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, boundaries, and professional practice
- Confident managing staff, including performance and conduct issues
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Calm, resilient, and able to lead in challenging situations
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
