Pask’s Removals & Storage is looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking HGV Driver & Removals Team Leader to join our growing team.
We are a professional London removals company carrying out residential and commercial moves across London, the UK and Europe. We have built an excellent reputation with over 850 reviews across Google and Trustpilot and pride ourselves on providing a first class service from start to finish.
We’re looking for someone who can become an important long term member of our team as we continue to expand our UK and European operations.
The Role
This is a hands on HGV driving and removals position, not a driving only role.
You will drive our HGV vehicles while working alongside and leading our removals teams on domestic and international moves.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving HGV vehicles across London, the UK and Europe
- Leading removals teams and helping jobs run safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading customers’ furniture and belongings
- Safely and efficiently loading removals vehicles
- Protecting furniture using professional removals equipment
- Dismantling and reassembling appropriate furniture where required
- Communicating professionally with customers throughout their move
- Carrying out vehicle checks and looking after company vehicles and equipment
- Working closely with our Operations Manager
- Representing Pask’s Removals to a high professional standard
European moves will involve international driving and nights away from home, so applicants must be comfortable with regular travel.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Professional HGV driving experience
- Previous removals experience
- Good driving record
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and tachograph requirements
- Strong physical fitness and willingness to carry out demanding removals work
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- Professional and customer focused attitude
- Confidence leading and working as part of a team
- Ability to reliably commute to South East London for early starts
- Valid passport and ability to travel throughout Europe
- Right to work in the UK
Previous European HGV driving experience is highly desirable.
Experience working as a Removals Team Leader, Foreman or Crew Leader would also be a significant advantage.
The Person We Want
Reliability is extremely important to us.
We want someone who takes pride in their work, looks after the vehicles and equipment they use and understands the responsibility involved in moving customers’ possessions.
You should be physically fit, hardworking and willing to get stuck in alongside your team rather than simply driving the vehicle.
You’ll also need to be comfortable dealing directly with customers and capable of remaining calm, professional and solutions focused when unexpected situations arise during a move.

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per year, depending on experience
The higher end of the salary range will reflect relevant HGV driving, removals, team leadership and European driving experience.
