Duties
- Assist in supervising daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth service flow
- Support food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high culinary standards
- Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and cleanliness standards
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and baristas to deliver outstanding service
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, presentation, and timing to optimize guest experience
- Manage customer interactions by serving guests directly when needed and resolving any issues promptly
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels for food and beverages
- Uphold hospitality excellence by fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Background in managing or leading teams within a busy bar or restaurant environment
- Familiarity with culinary processes including food production and kitchen operations
- Experience working in hotel or similar hospitality settings is advantageous
- Barista experience is a plus for managing beverage services effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and maintain high standards of service
