About the Role
Onyx Events is looking for a proactive, reliable, and high-energy Operations Manager to lead our beverage and team support operations live at the Southampton Boat Show.
In this role, coffee is fuel, and you hold the keys to the engine room. You’ll be responsible for keeping seven key coffee stations fully operational, fully stocked, and running like clockwork across the 10-day event. Beyond keeping the caffeine flowing, you’ll be a vital pillar of support for the wider event crew, making sure team morale stays high and operations run without a hitch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 7 Coffee Stations: Keep all coffee machines clean, functional, and ready for action throughout the day.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor supply levels constantly—ensuring beans, milk, cups, stirrers, and consumables are always topped up before they run low.
- Team Support: Act as a go-to operational contact for the on-site crew, helping out where needed to keep the energy up and the team happy.
- Early Morning Setup: Arrive at 7:00 AM sharp to ensure all stations are prepped and firing on all cylinders before the crowds arrive.
