Job description:
House of Flags Ltd is well-established as being one of the UK’s leading suppliers of large format digital displays solutions, offering its clients a complete solution from design, manufacture, through to installation and maintenance.
Due to the imminent retirement of our Finance Director we have an exciting opportunity opened up for an experienced Finance Manager, ideally from a SME manufacturing background, who would also actively be part of the Management Team.
The position would suit someone with a positive attitude, who can be proactive in helping drive the business forward in a hands-on way.
This is a full-time office-based position.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the day to day running of a small account’s teams.
· Day to day management of all financial functions (e.g sales ledger/purchase ledger/cash flow management)
· Preparation of monthly management accounts, along with KPI’s
· Payroll
. Managing the corporation tax payments on account
. Preparation and submission of VAT returns
· Prepare and submit year end information for accountants.
· Reporting to the MD, responsible for full accounting functions
Requirements:
· Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
· Experience in working in a SME manufacturing business.
· Experience in ERP systems.
· Positive, proactive & enthusiastic attitude.
· Import & export knowledge.
